Seow Peer graduated from the then University of Singapore and was called to the bar in 1979.

Seow Peer is well-versed in Property & Conveyancing matters. She represents both commercial and individual clients and has acted for developers in Residential and Retail/Commercial Projects. She also conducts training classes for real estate agents and work closely with real estate agencies.

Additionally, Seow Peer advises clients on incorporation of company, Wills, Estate matters, sale of shares in private limited companies and landlord and tenant’s disputes.


Seow Peer was a  Legal Assistant at Boey, Ng & Wan  where she specialized in conveyancing matters.

During her time at Boey, Ng & Wan, Seow Peer, besides carrying out legal work in property law, landlord and tenant and land acquisition, Seow Peer had also acted for banks, financial institutions and developers and handled general sale and purchase matters.. She appeared in courts on few occasions for disputes on irregularities on title deeds.

Subsequently, she joined Jing Quee, Chin Joo & Teck Hui, one of the leading conveyancing firms in Singapore, where she did a wide spectrum of property related works including:

  • acting for the CPF Board
  • acting for various banks in Singapore, including POSB Bank in mortgages
  • acting for developers in their purchase and sale of their projects
  • assisting in the sale of the piece of prime land behind Paragon to UIC
  • negotiating and preparing for the attempted purchase of a building at Orchard Road known as Palais Renaissance.

Prior to joining Templars Law LLC, Seow Peer  was the main lawyer  overseeing conveyancing works in Lee Bon Leong & Co. She was in charge of carrying out works from CPF Board, Standard Chartered Bank, OCBC Bank, UOB Bank, DBS Bank, Hong Leong Finance Ltd, Bank of China and other financial institutions. She also acted for developers in their construction loans.

Other Involvements

Besides her legal practice, Seow Peer is actively involved in the community. She is currently the Chairperson of Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru Community Centre Management Committee and the Vice-Chairperson of the Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru Citizens Consultative Committee.

She sat on advisory committees including Central CDC, Tanjong Pagar Town Council, Films Consultative Panel, and was the chairperson of Anderson Junior College School Advisory Committee. She is currently a member of the Public Transport Council.

For her active involvement, she was awarded PBM in 1986 and BBM in 2011. In 2018, she was appointed Justice of Peace.
