Family Law

  • Represented a party simultaneously involved in family civil maintenance claim and a quasi-criminal claim for maintenance under the MSS scheme amounting of about USD 4 million.

Probate (Contested)

  • Represented executor in a dispute between beneficiaries to a large estate valued in excess of S$50 million.

Other Matters

  • Wei Yung was one of three lawyers involved in representing sellers for the enbloc sale of Park View Mansion with 160 units;
  • Wei Yung was also leading counsel in precedent case Asia Grand Pte Ltd v A I Associates Pte Ltd [2023] SGHC 175 on Sections 10(2)(a)(ii) and 10(3)(b) of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2004 (2020 Rev Ed) and Regulations 5(1) and 5(3) of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Regulations (2006 Rev Ed) as amended in 2019.

For a period in his career, Lee Wei Yung was a Senior Officer in the Singapore Police Force, involved in the investigation of a wide range of criminal and “routine” cases.

Lee Wei Yung enjoys running and involves himself in various kinds of community work including homeless outreach. He is regularly involved in Pro Bono work.
